Merciless Don Matthews was spawned on February 11th 1978 in Hart County Georgia by two God fearing gentle parents. Little did they know that their baby boy would someday grow up to be the epitome of violence and destruction.  

What could turn this innocent little child into such a brutal man? Often bullied as a small child, he turned to martial arts for an outlet to his anger burning inside.  This anger was too strong to be controlled and as he grow older his anger grew stronger. As he grew bigger. His talent for hurting other became obvious. After getting revenge on the ones who persecuted him, he was discovered by a local wrestling promoter know as "The Godfather" Johnny Love from I.W.A. Flashfire.  The Godfather molded this brutal man into a finely tuned machine of destruction dealing out his own brand of punishment to anyone who gets in his way. A man who felt no remorse for his actions, a man who would show No Mercy! In the I.W.A. Flashfire shows he quickly established himself as one of the most dominant athletes in the American Independent wrestling scene.  After catching the eye of the "Turning Up The Heat!" TV Show Producer, Rick Love, with his size, ring presence and talent he was then introduced to the international wrestling arena and a world wide viewing audience. Rick Love called "Merciless" Don Matthews: "The most promising wrestler to come out of the Mid Atlantic Region in over 20 years."  He has build his career and reputation by ending the careers of other wrestlers, and now NWA Heat Wave, "Turning Up the Heat!" TV, and all of the professional wrestling world has no choice but to Expect No Mercy!
